Hạt Phù Sa Kì Diệu Mùa xuân năm 1975, chúng tôi: Hà Huy Chương và Trần Đăng Khoa, hai chàng lính trẻ ở Trung đoàn bộ Trung đoàn 2, Quân khu III, là Trung đoàn huấn luyện quân đi B, bổ sung cho các chiến trường Miền Nam. Khi ấy, Trần Đăng Khoa là lính thông tin, còn tôi lính bảo mật. Cả hai đều rất trẻ, tuổi mười bảy và hai mươi mốt. Khoa có đọc cho tôi nghe Trường ca Giông bão. Trường ca khá dài anh viết từ hồi mới mười một, mười hai tuổi với Phần I là Đi đánh Thần Hạn, đã in đầy hai trang báo Văn Nghệ năm 1969.
