Arithmetic 3 - E.T. McSwain

Third graders of the 1950's and 1960's learned arithmetic much better than the children of today. Mathematics of the past was really taught by great teachers who made it interesting and exciting for the children to learn. There were no calculators, computors or any other mechanical teaching devices. Information was given to the student to memorize and regergitate to the teacher. And, students taught other students, especially, those who did learn as fast as others.
